Kowloon Virtual Trip
We were to write a reflection on this virtual visit talk about how important it is the knowledge of built environment and abiding building law to ensure
healthy , safe and positive life equality.
The Kowloon walled city is built without architects and engineers. The building were built stacking and without the help of architects or building codes .The Kowloon used to called the City of Darkness .Building were built on top of each other, like stacking and the sunlight couldn't even reach the lower levels .Many apartments had no windows or access to fresh air because they were enclosed within the middle of the buildings. Other than that , there was no rubbish collector so they throw out rubbish from their windows .

Due to the lack of laws there are no government or state so the crime in Kowloon walled city was so bad. The Hong Kong police patrolling in the walled city were totally useless there were no laws , no crimes therefore no arrests. Drugs abuse , prostitution , gamblings and rackets were ever present, invisible but overwhelming .
The Kowloon city Kowloon Walled City was an ungoverned, densely populated settlement in Kowloon City, Hong Kong.
Choose a scene or situation from any references that has given an impact to you and tell us how do you feel about it.
This is the scene that impacted me the most when the man walking down the hallways. The hallways was narrow, dark and dirty , this scene makes me feel claustrophobia .
